What OEM Actually Covers

OEM lets you control fabric, colour, dimensions, edge finish, labelling and packaging while the factory owns tooling, labour and QC.

Step 1: Write a Tight Brief

Specify fabric type, GSM, finished size, Pantone references, hem style and target FOB price. Ambiguity in the brief becomes cost in the sample round.

Step 2: Sample Development

Pre-production samples take five to seven days. Budget one or two revision rounds. Sample fees are normally credited against the first bulk order.

Step 3: Bulk Production

Bulk runs take 15 to 25 days depending on quantity and print complexity. Insist on three-stage QC: incoming fabric, in-line and final AQL inspection.

Step 4: Branding and Packaging

Woven labels, hang tags, poly bags and custom cartons can all be produced in-house. Supply artwork as vector files with outlined fonts.

Step 5: Shipping and Documents

Choose express, air or ocean freight by urgency. Standard document set: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and test reports.
